About Us

A literary magazine created to uplift voices, share honest experiences, and connect writers through stories about mental health.

Our Mission

Super Panic House Lit Mag is a literary magazine dedicated to uplifting writers of all ages who are living with or confronting mental illness and other mental health challenges. We publish stories, poems, and other creative works that engage meaningfully with those experiences. Its founders, Max and Henry, created the magazine out of a shared desire to help their community and give underrepresented voices a platform. Through Super Panic House, they hope to foster connection, encourage honest conversations about mental health, and remind writers that their stories matter.

Meet The Founders

Max Pitt

Co-founder

Hi, I’m Max! I’m a seventeen-year-old entrepreneur living in Los Angeles and the co-founder and creative director of Super Panic House Lit Mag. After watching my good friend struggle with bipolar disorder, I became passionate about supporting others facing similar challenges and helping them share their experiences. Through this magazine, I hope to make a meaningful difference in the mental health community.

Henry Markowitz

Co-founder & Creative Director

Hi, I’m Henry! I’m a seventeen-year-old writer living in Los Angeles and the author of A Metro Story, available on Amazon. I live with bipolar disorder, and writing has given me a way to understand and express my experiences. I want to share that opportunity with others through this magazine.
